How do I join Liftoff?

You can opt in via the Syfe app on the Syfe Trade app homepage. You need to have a minimum balance of USD 100 to qualify for the competition. There is no cost to join and results are automatically tracked from your time of opt in. You can opt in anytime from 26 July to 19 Aug 2022. First 100 participants will receive USD 2 in cash credits.

How are returns calculated?

Your portfolio amount will be tracked based on the value of your holdings at the time of competition opt-in. Return percentage will be calculated based on a time weighted return formula on a daily basis.

Returns are not reset on a weekly basis and are cumulative from the date of joining till the end of the campaign.

You will not be able to request for your actual current return percentage. In the case of any dispute, Syfe reserves the right to make the final decision.

How do I win prizes?

There are 3 weekly prizes and one grand prize that will be distributed throughout the competition period. Each week’s winner will be determined by the highest percentage returns from the start of the competition till that week’s Friday’s market close.

The previous week’s winner will be announced the following Tuesday along with the leaderboard refresh at 12pm. The winner will be contacted separately with details on how the prize can be claimed.

Each winner can only win one weekly prize. In the event that a winner is in the top position more than once, the prize will be awarded to the participant with the next highest percentage return.

The grand prize winner will be determined by the highest percentage gain of holdings from the joining date till the end of the competition. The grand prize winner can be one of the weekly prize winners.

When is the leaderboard refreshed?

The leaderboard will be refreshed every Tuesday and Thursday at 12pm, but may be subject to change.

How do I opt out of the competition?

You can write in to [email protected] if you wish to be removed from the competition or want your details removed from the leaderboard. Opting out of the competition is irreversible and you will not be able to join again for the remaining competition period.
